Download reddit gifs with sound

When I see a gif tagged with sound, I can't hear it. I've tried my ringer and obviously turning volume up/down but no sound plays. This problem is for gifs without a sound icon in the bottom left. I used to be able to hear these type of gifs but idk why I can't anymore. Would love some help. I am on an IPhone 11 and can not get sound to play on gifs with sound. As for sounds, I generally um, 'borrow' audio from youtube videos. For instance, I really wanted one of my sound commands to be from AHS s1 the "You're gonna regret it!" clip.
